1. Set up your bot

Your account already has a first bot. Open it via Bots > Bots > Edit. Give it a name that tells visitors it is an AI assistant, and fill in a persona, instructions and a greeting.

2. Teach your bot

Under Knowledge > Bot training you let the bot read your website, add your own questions and answers and upload your documents. Questions and answers that the bot proposes itself, you switch on yourself.

3. Test your bot

Click Test next to your bot and ask the questions your customers often ask. Is an answer wrong? Then add to your knowledge or your instructions.

4. Put the bot on your website

Under Bots > Domains, confirm with a TXT record that your domain is yours, and link the domain to your bot. Without a confirmed domain a visitor can send only 2 messages. Then copy the code and paste it on every page of your website.

5. Your support channels

Connect your mailbox under Settings > Channels > Email. When a visitor wants contact, the bot asks for an e-mail address or phone number and creates a ticket.

6. Follow up

You find conversations, e-mail and tickets in Work > Inbox. You add colleagues under Settings > Users. How many users you can add depends on your package.

7. Usage and balance

Your bot runs on balance. Under Settings > Usage you see your balance and top it up. When your balance runs out, your chatbot stops until you top up. What everything costs is on the pricing page.
