About ZelixAI: built by InterIP Networks, a Dutch ISP since 1999
ZelixAI is not a Silicon Valley startup. We are the AI platform that grew out of the kitchen of InterIP Networks — a Dutch ISP that has been managing critical infrastructure for over 25,000 customers since 1999.
SECTION 01 · OUR ORIGINS
Not from an accelerator. From an ISP kitchen.
ZelixAI was born in the kitchen of InterIP Networks B.V. — a Dutch internet service provider that has been serving over 25,000 customers across the Netherlands and surrounding countries every single day since 1999.
InterIP has been building critical infrastructure for a quarter of a century: domain registrations, web hosting, server maintenance, firewalls, VPNs, and encrypted connections. For people who cannot afford to let anything break. ZelixAI was born from that same discipline.
When we saw how AI tools from big tech companies were routing customer data through American clouds, the conclusion was simple: there's a better way. There had to be a better way. So we built ZelixAI — with the database on our own servers and your data stored in the EU, and from Plus the option to keep the AI processing in the EU as well. Not as an experiment. As a necessity.
SECTION 02 · TECHNOLOGY PARTNER
InterIP Networks: more than our founder
InterIP Networks B.V. is more than the founding company behind ZelixAI — it is our active infrastructure partner. The servers and databases underneath ZelixAI run on InterIP infrastructure, managed by the same team we sit down with in person every day.

Storage in the EU
The database with conversations, knowledge base and accounts is on our own servers in a Dutch data centre. Files and backups are in France. AI processing can take place outside the EU, unless you turn on EU-only, available from Plus.

Own firewalls & DDoS protection
Firewalls, VPNs, and DDoS protection managed in-house since 1999. Not outsourced to a third party, not dependent on AWS Shield or Cloudflare.

Encrypted connections
Connections from the widget to our platform and from our platform to the AI provider run over HTTPS. Sensitive data such as API keys and passwords of connected services are stored encrypted.

Monitoring
The InterIP team monitors the availability, speed and security alerts of our systems.

Backup strategy
Daily backups, stored encrypted in a data centre in France, in a different place from our servers.

Domain & SSL registry
InterIP has been handling domain registration and SSL certificates for its clients for years, through its own registry connections.
For our customers, this means: ZelixAI is not an «AI startup with cloud bills at AWS». We run on infrastructure that is fully managed in-house by a single team of Dutch experts — people we sit down with in person every day. When something goes wrong, it's not a support ticket to a robot. It's a phone call to the people who manage the servers.

ZelixAI is not a chat widget. ZelixAI is a multi-messaging, multi-channel AI support system that brings together email, live chat, ticketing, and knowledge management in a single workspace.
One AI layer that watches and acts across every channel, with your data stored in the EU. While the market is still debating whether AI is «safe enough» for customer service, we're already rolling it out. From Plus you can keep the AI processing in the EU as well.

By default your bot uses AI from major providers, including outside the EU. With EU-only (from Plus) the AI processing stays in the EU. Your own language-model server is under development.

A separate database per account, encrypted connections over HTTPS, and speech that is turned into text in the EU. Your customer data belongs to you and stays that way.

The team has daily operational experience with servers, networks, domains, SSL, DDoS protection, and customer data security. That expertise doesn't live in a whitepaper — it's built into the architecture of ZelixAI itself.
ZelixAI is co-led by M. Kalkan, founder of InterIP Networks and Kalkan.biz — active in the Dutch internet industry for more than a quarter of a century.
