In addition to roles, you can set extra permissions for each individual employee. This is useful when a single employee takes on an additional task that does not fit within the standard role.
Adjusting individual permissions
- Go to Employees and open the detail page of the relevant employee.
- Click the Permissions tab.
- You see an overview of all permissions, grouped per module. Permissions granted via the role are marked with a role badge.
- Enable additional permissions or temporarily disable role permissions via the toggle next to each permission.
- Click Save permissions. Changes take effect the next time the employee logs in.
Best practice
Use individual permission adjustments sparingly. When multiple employees need the same extra rights, it is better to create a new role. That keeps your access structure clean and easy to audit.
