Sometimes you want to create an invoice that does not originate from an order — for example for subscription fees, consultancy hours or one-off services.
Creating a manual invoice
- Go to Invoicing and click New invoice in the top right.
- Search and select the customer the invoice is for.
- Set the invoice date and payment term (default 14 days).
- Click Add line and fill in the description, quantity, price and VAT percentage for each invoice line.
- Check the subtotals, VAT amount and total at the bottom of the form.
- Click Save invoice to store the invoice as a draft, or Save and send to send it immediately.
Draft invoices appear in the overview with the status Draft and are not yet counted in your revenue reporting. Only once sent does the invoice receive a definitive invoice number.
